With the changes to the FA rules regarding training, we are so pleased to have our
teams back out on the pitch playing football with their friends.
As a club, we wanted to do this as safely as possible while managing to get as many
of our teams training again. Spreading the training schedule out over more days has
allowed for more space for teams allowing compliance with social distancing
Be assured we are disinfecting and cleaning equipment used by coaches, and all
coaches are creatively tailoring socially distanced training sessions and drills
involving smaller groups of players.
We are lucky to have so many brilliant coaches who have helped make sure the
return of football training has been smooth and the kids have been able to benefit not
just with their fitness but with their well-being, which has been tough over the past
few months of lockdown.
A big thank you to our coaches, our Child Welfare Officer – Vicky Johnson, the club’s
committee, the players and their parents who have all helped make the return
